My best stay so far! I really impressed from the start: hotel - brand new, staff - super friendly, location - perfect (direct metro line from airport and bus to BONDI beach), nice restaurant at ground floor with decent coffee, rooms - cozy and very digital, you even can watch Netflix, pillows are very comfortable and bed sheets without any smells (usually I have very bad sleep in hotels, but this time it was not a problem), shower - can be made super hot and strong pressure. In addition to Nespresso coffee machine staff put small milk cream, cute!

Walking down Castlereagh St, you could almost be forgiven for missing this fabulous new hotel. Quietly tucked behind a cafe, The Porter House Hotel is perfect for anyone busy around the city while wanting something off the main shopping streets. 1 minute walk from Hyde Park for a nature stroll and 2-3 minutes walk from any and all connecting public transport. Standard King Rooms felt light and airy (not cramped) with thoughtful furniture such as luggage seat and small desk/table and chair for working or eating.

Super clean, spacious and stylish room for 2 international travellers with large suitcases. Room has a comfortable large bed and huge shower. The food we ordered by room service was very good. If you walk 2 blocks to George street there’s a train that takes you to all the tourist spots so the location is very good. The gym was clean and good too, we didn’t use the pool but it looked nice if a little small. The restaurant downstairs was great (Henry’s I think).

Central location: short walk up to cafes in Surry Hills, close to Darling Harbour & Wynard restaurants, central station, museum station. I would absolutely recommend it!

Second time staying in this hotel. Can't imagine staying anywhere else, love this place. Rooms are gorgeous, love our slippers and robes. To be honest I can't think of anything I would change. Arriving on a rainy day and walking into the cosy bar and foyer was so welcoming 😀
